West Coast Grizzly Bear Tours
are you ready for a front row seat viewing one of north america's largest animals?

Departing at 1030am daily, join us aboard our covered vessels, where we will embark on a 8-9 hour journey along the beautiful British Columbia coastline towards The Toba Inlet for an experience that you will never forget! Along the way, keep your eyes open and cameras ready for Whales, Seals, Sealions, Dolphins and Eagles! You never know what may be on the way!

Upon arriving at the head of the Toba Inlet, you will be greeted by our Klahoose First Nations Adventure Guides. Here you will receive a traditional Salish Greeting and a short orientation.
From here, bus transport will take you up through the Toba Valley to find 1 of 6 viewing platforms! Here you see the salmon returning to spawn, filling every pool. This allows the Grizzlies to gorge on fresh fish for several months in preparation for their long winter hibernation. We will spend 3 hours quietly observing the mighty Grizzly in their natural habitat. While observing the bears, you may see other animals such as Elk, Deer, Wolves, Cougars, Black Bear and many birds throughout the valley! Don't forget your camera!

After experiencing wild Grizzly Bears in their natural habitat, the tour group will return to the estuary of the Toba River, where the tour boat was left, for the journey back to Campbell River! Along the way, there will again be ample opportunities to view the beautiful West Coast scenery including the spectacular water falls Toba Inlet is so well known for!
A delicious lunch is also included in your tour.
